Morgane Delaunay is a Post-doc researcher at the Center for Comparative Studies. She is a French historian specialized in colonial and post-colonial history. She holds a PhD degree from the Université Rennes 2 and the ISCTE-IUL, achieved with a grant from the Région Bretagne. Her doctoral dissertation, approved in January 2020, is entitled "Le processus d’intégration des retornados au Portugal (1975-2018). Analyse comparée avec le cas français des pieds-noirs d’Algérie.". She was an invited assistant professor at the ISCTE-IUL in 2020.
She joined the CEC-Comp in 2022 in the framework of the project "Constellations of Memory: a multidirectional study of postcolonial migration and remembering" (PTDC/SOC-ANT/4292/2021) coordinated by Elsa Peralta. She is the co-organizer, with Jonas Prinzleve, of the seminar cycle Memory, Culture and Citizenship in Post-Colonial Nations in the framework of the Research Line Legacies of Empire and Colonialism in Comparative Perspective. In addition, she is a member, since 2022, of the Cost Action HIDDEN.
