Coordinator: Teresa Mendes

CEComp-Community is a transversal initiative to all the research groups of the Centre for Comparative Studies of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon, with the aim of establishing articulation between researchers and local, regional and national communities, in formal educational contexts, such as school clusters, secondary schools, and non-formal contexts, such as libraries, museums, theater and dance companies, among others.

It is intended to intensify the collaboration and involvement of professors and researchers assigned to CEComp with various audiences outside the academic community, with a view to sharing knowledge and differentiated professional experiences.

The activities outlined arise from the needs of the community in terms of training, which call for the support of academics to promote sessions in different venues and with specific audiences, but also from the interests expressed by teachers and researchers to share their knowledge in different modalities: actions of short duration, workshops, short courses, among others that may be required by the local, regional and national community.
