The volume Pars Orientalis – Estudos sobre Escrita e Viagem [Pars Orientalis - Studies on Travel and Writing], recently published by Documenta, brings together a set of essays by Catarina Nunes de Almeida. From a corpus essentially composed of works of contemporary Portuguese literature, these studies seek, as a whole, to analyse the theme of the journey to the East in our days.
