Issue No. 2 of Compendium: Journal of Comparative Studies is now online. This issue is edited by José Bértolo (Universidade Nova de Lisboa) and David Campany (University of Westminster), and focuses on “Materialities of the Photobook".
The publication includes an introduction by the editors; seven academic articles; a conversation between José Bértolo and the editors of Pierre von Kleist André Príncipe and José Pedro Cortes; and two book reviews.
Another big highlight and the issue's most singular contribution to the field of artistic studies are two questionnaires on photobooks, sent out to photographers and publishers all around the world.
