This issue, devoted to "Literature and Comparative Studies: Theories, Paradigms, Models", is edited by Ângela Fernandes (U. Lisboa), Donata Meneghelli (U. Bologna), and Jan Baetens (KU Leuven).

The editorial team of Compendium and the guest editors would like to thank everyone who contributed to the publication of an issue that proves to be especially relevant to the mission of Compendium and CEComp in promoting a debate about Comparative Literature and Comparative Studies within the Humanities today. This issue features six original articles authored by leading researchers in the fields under consideration, as well as early-career researchers, affiliated with institutions in Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Poland, and the United Kingdom; a questionnaire about "Literature and Comparative Studies", with contributions from seven renowned professors and academics in the field; and three critical reviews of recent works whose dissemination becomes especially important for all those interested in the topic under analysis.

We thank you in advance for sharing this with colleagues and potential readers.
