Patrícia Lourenço holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities – University of Lisbon. She also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada (Lisbon) and a BA in Applied Psychology from the same institution. Her doctoral research focused on the representation of memory in perpetrator fiction regarding the Holocaust. She was the Editor-in-chief of estrema. Interdisciplinary Review for the Humanities from 2015 to 2018. She is part of the Aesthetics of Memory and Emotions subgroup.
