Seren Üstündağ holds a Bachelor’s degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Boğaziçi University (Turkey) and a Master’s degree in History from Bilgi University (Turkey). Additionally, she completed a second Master’s degree in Turkish Literature at Bilkent University. In 2019, she was admitted to the International Doctoral Program in Comparative Studies (University of Lisbon, KU Leuven, University of Bologna) with a project focusing on the Kurdish language in a colonial context, examining its journey in the international market through translation and activism. She is associated with research cluster MOV as a member of the Center for Comparative Studies, University of Lisbon.
