Teresa Líbano Monteiro has a degree in Arts and Humanities from the University of Lisbon (UL) and a Master in Culture Studies from the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP), with a comparative thesis on the short stories by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen and Mary Lavin and their respective historical contexts. She spent a semester of her degree at the Paul-Valéry University, in Montpellier, where she studied French Literature under the Erasmus programme. She currently is working on a PhD dissertation in Theory of Literature (UL) on the Portuguese writer José Régio and works as a reader at the UCP. She collaborated, in 2018/2019, in the independent poetry and criticism website “Jogos Florais” and in the research project “Lugares de O'Neill”, dedicated to the life and work of the poet Alexandre O'Neill. She has published some articles in journals such as Brotéria, Forma de Vida, Estranhar Pessoa and the Italian Transparenze. Since 2021, she has been a member of the editorial team of estrema: revista interdisciplinar de humanidades, a CECcomp digital journal. In March 2022, she became a member of the CECcomp, participating in the research group Morphe, and in the Textualidades subgroup.
