Majid Bavin holds an MA in English Language & Literature from the University of Guilan, Iran, and a BA in Translation Studies from Bu-Ali Sina University, Iran. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Comparative Studies at the Universidade de Lisboa, working on a research project titled Otherness in Translation: José Saramago’s Literary Innovations and Their Resonance in Persian under the supervision of Professor Marta Pacheco Pinto and Professor Paul E. Losensky. He is a fellow at CEComp. His academic work includes two authored books and two translated works in Persian, as well as a presentation at a national conference in Iran.
