This coming Tuesday, 23/04, at 4:30 PM, we will welcome professor Doctor Isabel Ferin Cunha to another edition of Café Mediático. The topic under debate this time will be the complex and explosive relationship between populism, nationalism and the media. Café Mediático is an initiative of the "Digital Media Nation: nationalisms, identities and citizenship in the digital age" project. This project aims, from the perspective of Digital Humanities, to reflect on the changes promoted by the development of communication technologies, with an emphasis on the internet and the digital, which have transformed practically all the basic institutions of modern European societies, to a greater or lesser extent, imposing new challenges and creating opportunities.
