Cycle of Debates on Citizenship, Identity and Nationalism

In an increasingly interconnected world, it is essential that we analyze how the concepts of identity and nationalism shape our understanding of society and belonging, contributing – or not – to the exercise of citizenship. With this objective in mind, we propose this cycle of debates to discuss the nuances of citizenship in a global era, the dynamics of identity construction in changing societies and the challenges and opportunities that nationalism presents. We believe that promoting constructive dialogue and critical reflection on such fundamental issues, which shape the social and cultural fabric of our time, is a good path towards building more inclusive and fair communities.
