In January 2024, the course “The 25 April 1974 through Cinema”, coordinated by Mariana Liz, researcher at CITCOM – Citizenship, Culture and Memory at Centro de Estudos Comparatistas da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa will take place. The course is targeted at teachers and other film and education professionals who wish to know more about how to approach and discuss with young people films about the New State dictatorship, Portugal’s colonial past and the Carnation Revolution.
