On the 18th of October, at 7pm, at the Goethe-Institut Lisbon Library, the book "De quem se esqueceu Lisboa? - A luta pela inscrição da memória anticolonial no espaço público", by Leonor Rosas will be presented. The book will be presented by the anthropologist Elsa Peralta (CeComp, FLUL), the historian Miguel Cardina (CES) and Djuzé Lino from the Batoto Yetu Association. This work, published as part of the Constellations of Memory project, funded by FCT, reflects on the perpetuation of Lusotropical and white narratives in Lisbon's public space, seeking to understand how power relations can be read in this memorial landscape, and on the possibilities and projects for inscribing counter-hegemonic, anti-colonial and anti-racist memories in it.
