Following the first edition in 2025, this Open Course (and Short Course for teachers) aims to continue offering an up-to-date and critical overview of various contemporary authors from Spain and Hispanic America. The course is aimed at Spanish teachers within the Portuguese education system, students of Hispanic literature and culture, and the general public with an interest in this literary world.

22 June – Course introduction: an overview of contemporary Spanish and Latin American fiction. Discussion of the work of Elia Barceló (Prof. Ângela Fernandes)
23 June – Discussion of the work of Maria Fernanda Ampuero (Prof. Santiago Pérez Isasi)
24 June – Discussion of the work of Gabriela Cabezón Cámara (Prof. Martina Altalef)
25 June – Discussion of the work of Carme Riera (Prof. Esther Gimeno Ugalde)
26 June – Discussion of the work of Jorge Volpi (Prof. Ângela Fernandes)
